Aaron Equipment Company’s Michael Cohen brings a wealth of buying experience to our team. Recognized as a leading expert in the highly specialized industry of new and used process equipment appraisals and auctions, his impressive track record includes over 35 years of active buying, selling, and appraising. Michael’s keen understanding of contemporary market fluctuations and their impact on his customers’ needs lie at the heart of this 80-year-old family business.

Michael began his career with Aaron in 1985 after earning his Bachelors of Arts from Drake University. Since that time, he has added a long list of accomplishments to his professional dossier. As an Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA) certified appraiser, Michael is uniquely qualified to evaluate a wide range of industrial plants and equipment, including Pharmaceutical Processing, Plastic Injection, Extrusion, Reaction, Blow Molding and Machine Tools. His equipment knowledge extends to Chemical Processing, including Mixing Equipment (Columns, Dryers, Evaporators, Filters, Kettles, Reactors, and Tanks); Food Processing Equipment; and Electrical Equipment.

In addition to working closely with his longstanding team of sales and appraisal staff, Michael manages advertising and marketing inventory via industry trade publications and Aaron’s state-of-the-art website.
